Artist's Comments

OK...

This may have turned out pretty but it was hell to make.. I figured, "ohh, ill just be my stupid self and try and save paper." so I scaled it down to 1:4...

At this point the units get so small your paper drift gets so big that the units come out to unprecise and you have trouble assembling. The paper also get stiff when there are 6 layers, also making it hard to asemble.

Notice how the peices are in no special form, I decided that, i wouldnt try and make it look like anything, i let it take it where it wanted itself to go and let it be its own artist.

But it turned out well i think. :cheese:

Stats:
30 boxes, 51.875 peices of paper, 540 units, 3600 folds, again.. lots of time (lots).

Please full view so you can see the details.

Nice, i like i like

i wonder how you used so many modules. looks damn good though

in my piece, Pyramid of Cubes , i used 13 cubes and each had 6 unites, so... um... so about 91 pieces

i guess i could have made each cube out of 12 or 24 pieces, but i wasn't that ambitious.

however, you are and i like that.

for example, your 3 crazy cool interlocking tetrahedrons were amazing, much better than my silly one. i like how you really get into the stuff.

anyhoo, enough rambling by me. great work. like it a lot :)

it isn't so much the quality of life that determines your happiness, but rather, the attitude that you bring to it.

I don't understand origami at all but the stuff you can do is amazing. I can't imagine how patient you must be to do all that folding! Great work.
